The Farmer was made to capture a moment in my life when I was feeling fully integrated into the cannabis lifestyle. When working and living on an off-grid, mostly self sustaining farm the whole operation can feel like one big beautiful natural machine. You become the mechanism by which the earth tends to itself. You lose yourself in the action of tending to the plants and fungi, becoming just another tendril in the mycelial network and root system of the garden. At the moment when you go from grower to consumer the entirety of the growth cycle is laid out in your mind. In that moment the sacrament feels so very full circle.
